Attendance Rules

Students must have a permit to leave campus during school hours
Please call or email the attendance office several hours ahead of time

- Students missing 20 or more minutes of class are counted absent for that class.

Parent/guardian phone call or email within 48 hours.
If you cannot speak to someone directly, please leave a vociemail
A parent/guardian must report the absence

Handwritten notes are not accepted.

Unresolved tardies, truancies, and unexcused absences may result in loss of credit at semester end.
Excused Absence Exceptions
Medical documentation from a health care provider
Legal documentation for a court appointment
In-house dentention
School-sponsored actvities, including field trips, performances, competitions, and district sacntioned evnets.
Pre-Arranged Extended Absence
For absences of 3 or more days
Obtain a form from the Attendance Office before the absence
Parents/guardian signs to verify dates
Return completed to the Attendance Office
